Man from Ottawa region becomes lotto winner and takes fortune home
Hot news:
A lot of us imagine being lottery winners and for a man from Manotick, this dream has been realized. Paul Hindo won $22 million following last week’s win of Lotto 6/49.
He purchased the winning ticket on Preston Street at Preston News-stand.
He informed OLG that he had gone shopping and was on the verge of disposing his lottery tickets in the dump after examining them; then, the screen began flickering.
He was skeptical of the screen and therefore went online to check his ticket, before he contacted his wife to give her the wonderful news.
According to Hindo, he had always planned to travel and purchase a sleek sports car if he became a winner, but currently intends to give to charity in Canada, where he relocated to 40 years back.
